ABOUT GREENACRES

Green Acres Farm is set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, with access to beautiful Shotover Country Park. The country park is a beauty spot with a long history (it was once a royal hunting ground), providing access to an expansive 100+ hectares on the southern slopes of Shotover Hill. The park offers gorgeous hilltop views, access to more than 250 miles of woodland, mountain biking trails, bridle paths and much more - from gentle strolls to orienteering, jogging and family picnics. Make your way to the top for enticing views across south Oxfordshire. As youd imagine, all this space is ideal for wildlife and much of the country park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), perfect for nature fans. Great dog walks to be had in the park. Being right on the edge of Oxford, this site is no more than a 10 minute drive from the city centre - where you can tour the ancient universities, try some river activities and enjoy a day out. Pitches are set on grass to suit tents and tourers, with optional electric available. Campfires and pets welcome, with top pubs and restaurants within a five minute walk. Open all year.

Please contact the campsite directly if you have any questions about opening dates, facilities or additional measures at this campsite.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
